Why so much hype over realistic baby dolls recently? These dolls have
been a feature of a number of television shows, including 20/20, The
Today Show and Dr Phil.
The baby doll we perhaps think of before any other right now as being
the most realistic is the "reborn". Reborn dolls are those that are
made to look and even feel like real babies. Generally they are
constructed with vinyl and will have eyes, hair and clothing to look
like those of a real child.

In fact, these dolls are so realistic that some women who are not able
to have their own children have been known to substitute a realistic
reborn doll instead. Having a doll that feels real to them while
holding it within their arms is enough to alleviate pent-up emotions.
And of course, there is a huge market for children's realistic baby
dolls. Most young ladies wish to cuddle their own little baby and carry
