Valentine’s Day today has become a huge craze especially amongst the youngsters. It is celebrated to express the feeling of love to their beloved ones. It is celebrated on 14th of February every year in the whole world. Persons who are in love start planning before the festival so that they can celebrate it and those who do not have any partner start finding so that even they don’t miss this day without a celebration. There is huge market for this festival and marketers do rigorous campaigns to advertise their products to sell.

Huge shopping is done during this Valentine’s Day which has made it a multi dollar business. In US it is the second largest card exchanging festival after Christmas.

In Present Times, Valentine’s Day is not restricted to romantic couples but is the day to celebrate love of any kind whether they may be parents, teachers, friends or life partners. Even Children celebrate this festival with their parents or friends.

Most popular way of celebrating Valentine’s Day is to go for a romantic date with your beloved and give each other a special gift. Nowadays parties are arranged in hotels and discotheques. Dinners are planned. Some couples even plan a holiday or outing on this day. So this day is celebrated in thousands of ways.

Most of the people celebrate this day of love and romance while there are also some people who are against this festival, especially in India where women face eve teasing on this day. India is a country where not all the people are modern and they think that multinationals impose western culture in their country.
